Pittsburg State University is expanding its graduate offerings with the launch of a new online Master of Business Administration (MBA) concentration in Data Science and Information Systems, designed to meet workforce demand for business leaders fluent in analytics, data management and strategic decision-making.
Launching in Fall 2025, this accelerated and affordable program equips students with advanced knowledge in areas such as predictive analytics, database design and business intelligence, paired with foundational MBA coursework in marketing, financial planning and strategic management. Graduates will be prepared to pursue roles such as data analyst, data scientist, database manager, financial analyst and more.

Students in the online MBA Data Science and Information Systems program will learn to use industry-standard tools including RStudio, SQL and Tableau, applying data to real-world business challenges. Coursework emphasizes hands-on learning, enabling students to design databases, apply predictive models and transform data into visual formats that inform decision-making across business functions.
