The Risepoint Field Marketing team is dedicated to helping our university partners connect with local employers and students within their communities. By partnering with local schools and school districts, hospitals and healthcare systems, and local employers, they are constantly connecting with nurses, educators, and leaders to educate them on our university partners’ programs. Every visit, conversation, and follow-up reflects their deep commitment to our partners and the students they serve.
The following stories highlight members of our Field Marketing team and offer a glimpse into how these teammates represent our Risepoint REACH values through meaningful action. Whether building new partnerships or supporting individual journeys, each example highlights the care behind every conversation.

Fredrick Ellis provides reliable support
Fredrick Ellis demonstrated our Reliable value during a visit to a medical center in support of the University of West Alabama (UWA). With the support of the Director of Nursing, Fredrick spoke with nurses across multiple units and listened to understand their needs for continuing education.
That engagement led to a major opportunity. UWA was invited to participate in the hospital’s October 2025 Skills Fair, a competitive event that reaches more than 500 nurses. Fredrick’s consistent presence and relationship-focused approach helped position UWA as one of a few select institutions trusted to support the hospital’s development goals.
Susi Good empowers our partners’ students and graduates

At the recent Oklahoma Coaches Association conference, Susi Good met a recent graduate of Southeastern Oklahoma State University’s Master’s in Educational Leadership program. The graduate spoke openly about his experience, praising the faculty and structure that helped him succeed.
By creating space for that moment of recognition, Susi turned a conversation into a platform. The graduate’s endorsement resonated and helped further position Southeastern as a supportive option for working adults looking to continue their education.

Christine Hurd uses adaptability to expand reach
Christine Hurd, representing St. Thomas University (STU), adapted her outreach to extend support to an often-overlooked audience, night shift nurses. After establishing contact at a local hospital, she intentionally requested a follow-up visit focused solely on the night shift.
That visit created new momentum for St. Thomas. The Nurse Educator not only shared Christine’s materials across the hospital system but also sparked a conversation with a Nurse Recruiter at another medical center. A few days later, Christine’s thoughtful follow-up opened the door to a new hospital opportunity.
Her willingness to adjust and engage in new ways helped expand STU’s reach while showing genuine care for nurses who work during off-hours.
Rosanne Dominguez leads with customer-centricity and empathy

Rosanne Dominguez took a thoughtful and customer-centric approach to district outreach for Lamar University across Central Texas. She began by identifying a local principal who was also a Lamar alum. That connection led to an in-person visit, where interest quickly grew beyond one school district.
Rosanne built on that momentum to establish partnerships with three additional school districts. During her visits, she was joined by Enzo, a certified therapy dog, who provided emotional support for educators during a difficult start to the school year and in the wake of the Kerr County tragedy.
By tailoring her outreach to meet each district’s needs and leading with empathy, Rosanne helped show how Lamar is a trusted partner to educators.

Nicole Decker demonstrates heart for lasting impact
While rounding at a health center local to the University of North Carolina Wilmington (UNCW), Nicole Decker met a CNA who shared her dream of becoming an RN. UNCW did not offer an RN program, so Nicole, eager to provide genuine help, pointed her toward a local community college.
Two years later, Nicole was presenting at that same college when she saw the CNA again, who was now an RN and was interested in UNCW’s BSN program. That nurse went on to graduate with her BSN and is now pursuing her MSN at UNCW.
She credits that first conversation with Nicole as the moment that changed her career. Nicole’s presence and encouragement brought heart into the interaction and helped a person experience a risepoint moment.
Our REACH values provide guidance for our teammates on how to show up every day to give our best to our partners, their students, and one another. Across our partners, our Field Marketing team creates meaningful touchpoints that help both our partners and their students grow.
