We continue to be unwavering in our mission to expand access to workforce focused education for working adults.

In 2007, Risepoint (founded as Academic Partnerships) grew out of an effort to help a public university in Texas, where the devastating effects of Hurricane Rita prevented many students from coming back to campus.

As the university struggled with declining on-campus enrollments, we partnered to implement a new online education model which facilitated the delivery of efficient and effective learning at scale, improved student outcomes, and expanded access to working adults. As word about the success of the initiative spread, other public institutions requested assistance – and Academic Partnerships (AP) was formed.
